Research Cafes IV is coming up next week:









Wednesday 21st January, 2.30 – 4.30pm, Aldham Robarts Library, Seminar Room 1

We have the prospect of a fascinating selection of talks in store.


Gayle Whelan, Centre for Public Health – Mapping communities to understand more about health and culture

Robert MacDonald, School of Art and Design – Mental Health Matters

Carly Speed, School of Humanities & Social Science – A Hidden World: Deaths in Psychiatric Detention

As usual, each presenter will talk for about 10 minutes on their research, followed by time for questions and discussion with the audience. All LJMU staff, students and alumni are welcome, there is no need to book just turn up on the day.

As an added bonus, tea, coffee and cakes are provided!
