On the twelfth day of Christmas, LJMU gave to me…a merry Christmas wish to all our students!

We’d like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas!  We hope you enjoy the festivities of the season!
Don’t forget, for the first time you don’t have to wait till the new year to use the library – we’re open over the Christmas break as well. Check out the website for more details of our opening hours.

The image shows an illustration from Reynold’s Miscellany of Romance, General Literature, Science and Art, “Christmas Festivities and Customs”, from 1862.

We hold two volumes of Reynold’s Miscellany in our Nineteenth Century Periodicals (1854-5 and 1862-3), accessible in the Special Collections & Archives Reading Room.
