ScienceDirect changes are coming

On Saturday 1 February, a new release of ScienceDirect will be launched with some changes that may affect our users.

The new release will remove the Favourites and Quick Links functionality from the homepage. Registered users who make use of these services are encouraged to bookmark any favourite or quick links they have created before 1 February as they will be unavailable after the upgrade.

The new release aims to make ScienceDirect

  • Easier and more efficient – to improve the user experience
  • Faster and more intuitive – with reduced page load times and more seamless ways to complete tasks
  • Simpler – with less visual clutter and distracting elements that are rarely used

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause
