Your Help Needed!

Attend our focus group so we can find out how best to support library ‘visitor access’.

LJMU participates in a number of access and borrowing schemes.  The Higher Education library community wants to make sure that library visitor ‘access’ schemes meet users’ real needs for resources, services, and support.

SCONUL, the UK-wide university and colleges library group, is therefore holding library user focus groups in 12 locations across the UK in order to capture user experiences and expectations – what works, what doesn’t, what’s essential and what’s desirable when accessing another library.

The focus group will last just 1 hour and will be facilitated by independent experts familiar with library services in the UK and beyond. They are interested in hearing from users familiar with accessing other libraries and from others with no experience but with a view about what would be useful.

The focus group at LJMU will take place at Aldham Robarts LRC on Thursday 8th December at 2.00. Tea, Coffee and mince pies will be available from 1.45.

If you are willing to participate, please contact Will Reid at w.k.reid@ljmu.ac.uk, 0151 231 3307 or the admin team on 0151 231 3544.
